Week 13 – Presentations

This week in class, we presented on letter-writing topics, and I would say that my favorite topics were The Life of Vincent Van Gogh and Relationships.

About the life of Vincent Van Gogh, it was not the first time that I heard about it. Not too long ago, while surfing the internet, I found a post published about one of his letters to his brother, Theo, and I would have to say that I found profound interest in his writings, and the reasons that made them idyllically melancholic. From there, my research began about him, where I learned all about his life. For that reason, I enjoyed the first presentation a lot, as I only acquired new information about Vincent Von Gogh which imbued my curiosity about him.

The presentation on familial relationships was also one that caught my full attention. I find it that oftentimes, we receive certain qualities from our relationships that we don’t appreciate as much as we don’t realize them. Through that presentation, these qualities were highlighted and described by unique traits that are majorly found in each relationship. I loved learning about the qualities that my parents project in our relationship and found them to be surprisingly accurate. Without that presentation, I probably would have never perceived the traits that make each relationship so special and unreplaceable by other ones.
